"Thoughts from Food" Movie Update 9

So it has been a couple weeks since my last post and I do apologize for that, I have been working hard at keeping my jobs while making my way out of this beautiful, surreal, and at times conscious experience of shooting my first feature length film "Thoughts from Food". If you haven't been following, the film "Thoughts from Food" takes an unbiased look at the thoughts that arise in the minds of 12 ordinary people while they eat a meal of there choice purchased by the films Writer/Director Joshua Maxwell.

The Table.

The film is now almost out of principle of photography, we have filmed 9 people so far and have only 3 of the 12 subjects left to be filmed.

On Saturday, November 1st, I film with Gary (Freelance Window Cleaner) who was just a character.
Gary is a very interesting man, he has a deep southern drawl and is very relaxing to talk to. He ordered a cheeseburger and fries from a place on N. Lamar near my apartment, he was very relaxed the entire time and everything he said felt extremely honest when we recorded his thoughts.

Just this past Saturday, November 8, I film with Markus (Greenpeace Canvasser) who Also very relaxed during filming. We shot with Markus during the evening, ans he purchased a his meal from a small taco shack near my apartment. Markus was also the first subject shot for night in this film and all the shots look wonderful in contrast to the other scenes in the film.
Now after filming with Markus we are only a few people away from finishing the film. On Thursday I will be shooting with a two year old girl which should be extremely interesting and I am very anxious to hear her "Thoughts from Food", then on Saturday Mel (The Hairdresser) followed by (The Banker).
Thank you for following this Blog I should have a new one posted Friday to give you an idea of how Thursdays shoot went.

Be Well,
Joshua Maxwell
